About the MI-DAC
Michigan Disability Advocates Caucus
The Purpose of the MiDAC shall be to represent all Michigan residents who are PWD (People With Disabilities) and our Allies.
Our mission is to advocate for a political process that is inclusive, diverse, equitable, accommodating, and accessible for Michigan residents who are PWD and our Allies/Alliances.
The MiDAC shall seek to safeguard the protections and practices that empower our community. We shall establish a comprehensive platform for effectively improving legislation, policy making, and addressing the needs of PWD and our Allies/Alliances.
We shall also seek to reduce and dismantle the harmful effects of ableism within the political process and throughout society by means of advocacy and educational awareness.
