Michigan Democratic Party Disability Caucus Members,

I am writing to inform you that a Code of Conduct panel was convened to rule on the allegations made against Baba Baxter Jones, current chair of the MDPDC. After reviewing the full complaint, all evidence provided, and Mr. Jones’ response, this panel did not find sufficient evidence that Mr. Jones violated the Code of Conduct. The suspension was lifted on May 28, 2021.

An election will move forward to fill the open officer positions starting on Saturday, July 31st at 8PM ET. A separate email will be sent with the full details regarding voting and seeking election.
